Naldham House (now the site of the Brisbane Polo Club) was built in the late 1870s as a maritime building and has a classical architectural presence.

In 2018, the master craftsmen of McMillan Heritage Plastering were entrusted with the intricate task of carrying out the decorative stringcourse moulding reinstatement works to the front Mary Street façade. This process involved taking an exact profile of the existing stringcourse in order to make a traditional running mould. Using traditional sand and lime cement mortar and the running mould, 25 lineal metres of decorative stringcourse moulding was ran in-situ to perfectly match into the existing and restore the front façade to its former glory.
